Georgia Mountain Resort

Drove up for Sean’s 50th birthday.

Beautiful and Sunny on the way up, but rained all Friday Night.

Saturday was overcast, but not to cold.

Friday night I tested the Smokeless Grill in the camper. Cooked a really nice New Your strip I bought from Foodland. At $5.99 a pound it was great value. The smokeless grill worked like a charm. It did not set the smoke alarm which goes off if you sneeze. Dinner was great.

Sites

The campground is completely covered with fairly small chipped stone. All of the sites appear to be pull throughs and the sites are absolutely;y level did not have to use leveling blocks and the bubble in the level was dead center.

No one ever seems to be in the office as Rick is riding around making sure everything is perfect. If you call him on the phone he comes right in over to the site.

Site is secure at night and you need a code to get in and out.

Bathrooms

The Bathrooms are outstanding. Never seen anything like it. Each bathroom is a complete unit with a shower stall and a wash basin and toilet. The rooms are large with plenty of room to move around in and get dressed and undressed. More than plenty of hot water with plenty of water pressure. Not often you see bathrooms like this in a campground. Just like being at home.

I did not spend much time in camp as I spent the day at Sean’s and the evening at his birthday party. If I ever come back to Guntersville, which is likely, this is the place to camp. It’s only;y a couple of miles from downtown.
