And so it all begins.

At the airport in Atlanta waiting for the flight.

Sandy took time out to drop me off.

Interestingly the flight is not in the international terminal but on Concourse E which is the old international terminal but is now a domestic terminal.

Flight is absolutely full. Not a single empty seat.

They are calling for volunteers to give up their seats for a $200 gift card so they are not overly serious.

I guess those that couldn’t board were left behind. Great start.

Lesson: Don’t be late for international flights, especially if there is only 1 a day.

About an 18 hour non-stop flight. Looks like it’s going to be fun.
