Tanzania 2023

Tanzania is an East African country on the Indian Ocean.

I was born in Kenya, but grew up in Tanzania and hankered to go back to visit after 63 years.

I knew the country would have changed in my absence, but I was sure I would recognize some of it.

Not knowing anyone in Tanzania, logistics would be a problem, but by a stroke of luck God intervened and Gerard Miller, a professional hunter and an old friend contacted me on Facebook out of the blue. The last time I saw him he was 13 years old. We soon got to chatting about my hankering, and it was soon arranged for me to visit.

I got a flight into Kilimanjaro Airport where Gerard was kind enough to meet me and take me to his home in Arusha.
